Biography
Mª de los Angeles Merino Godoy, who works as a teacher of the Nursing Department of the University of Huelva, is the principal researcher of the project entitled "Design of a mobile application to educate young people in healthy habits" with file number PIN-0445/2016 and which has been subsidized with 27,000 euros by the Ministry of Health, according to the Resolution of 20 December 2016 of the General Secretariat for Research, Development and Innovation in Health, granting grants for the financing of research, biomedical development and innovation in Health Sciences in Andalusia for 2016 and completed in 2019.
Graduated by Nursing University of Huelva in 1993 and Teacher training University of Huelva in 1999. She is a doctor from University of Huelva since 2005 and a Master in Multicultural Education by University of Huelvain 2010. Also she has done a Interuniversity Master in Nursing Sciences by the University of Huelva in 2009. She got the Diploma of Advanced Studies in the Area of Knowledge "Didactics and School Organization" by the University of Huelva in 2004. She got a University Degree "Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude" by the University of Huelva in 1995, as well. Finally, about her formation, she obtained the Higher Degree in Nursing Bachelor of Nursing Hogeschool Zeeland in 2002.
Her doctoral thesis was defended in 2005 and her publications are developed in the area of health education. As a nurse and teacher in special education, her line of work addresses this area. Since 2003, she has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing in the University of Huelva and currently holds the position of Teaching Assistant Doctor there.
Within the scientific production, the IP of this project has made several projects and publications. As for scientific publications, it has 26. Among them, scientific articles cited by other authors and book chapters are included. The citations of these articles can be observed in SCOPUS. In addition, he has participated in 6 R + D + I groups and teams and in 12 projects financed in public calls. We highlight, finally, his communications in national and international conferences, seminars and seminars, as well as his participation in scientific committees and scientific societies.
