Biography

Gabriel Gómez-Ruiz received B.Eng. in Industrial Electronics Engineering, M.Eng. in Industrial Engineering and Ph.D. in Industrial and Environmental Science and Technology from University of Huelva, where he is Lecturer. He completed research stays at Munster Technological University (Ireland) and Distance University of Madrid (UDIMA), focused on modeling and control of thermostatically controlled loads, the main subject of his doctoral thesis. He has participated in competitive projects funded by the European Union and the Spanish National Plan for Scientific and Technical Research, with contributions in energy optimization in microgrids and power quality analysis. His achievements include ten articles in JCR-indexed journals and two patent applications.
