Biography
Laura Sánchez López is a predoctoral researcher at the Department of Earth Sciences of the University of Huelva (UHU), with a Research Staff Training Contract (FPI) 2023 within the project 'Transfer of metals to the Atlantic Ocean from the Huelva Estuary: stability of acid mine drainage precipitates (TRAMPA)'. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from the Universitat de València (2019) and a Master's degree in Applied Palaeontology from the same institution (2021). She was awarded a Collaboration Grant (2019-2020) by the Department of Botany and Geology at the Universitat de València. In 2019, she commenced her research career at the Universitat de València, working with the Cenozoic Vertebrate Paleontology Research Group (GI-PVC). Since 2023, her primary research areas have been the evaluation and behavior of acid mine drainage pollution in the Ría Huelva Estuary.
