Abstract
La TV forma parte de la vida cotidiana y ocupa un lugar importante en los hogares. La
elección del lugar concreto y el protagonismo que le queramos otorgar, en demasiadas
ocasiones no es del todo consciente. Consideramos el ver la TV como algo obvio, inocuo,
cotidiano y lo tenemos interiorizado. Lo que no tenemos tan interiorizada es la
importancia que este medio audiovisual tiene en la educación. No todos vemos las mismas
horas ni tampoco seleccionamos las mismas parrillas. Es importante analizar el porqué
nos decantamos por una u otra dieta televisiva y qué relación tiene esta elección
con nuestra forma de ver la vida
TV is part of our daily lives and occupies an important place at home. The situation and the protagonism we want to give to TV is not a conscious choice. We consider watching television as something obvious, innocuous, daily and internalized. What we have not internalized is the importance this audio-visual means has in education. Neither do we all watch TV for the same amount of time nor do we even tune the same programmes. It is important to analyze why we choose one TV programme or another and what the relation of this choice with our way of seeing and understanding life is
