Abstract

The leakage from waste water from olive-oil extraction plant (alpechín) stored in several pools polluted the phreatic aquifer; after making impermeable the pools the pollution was reduced by aireation, biological activities and neutralization by miocene marl terrains, in this area there are two more confined aquifers of which waters present some physico-chemical anomalies, related with deep flow waters
