Abstract
Recent discoveries of well-preserved Zoophycos specimens in Eocene turbidite sediments W of Jaca (Southern Pyrenees), have permitted the confirmation of polemical data infered by Kotake (1989) concerning to the behaviour of the Zoophycos producer organism. Accordding to this interpretation, such ich nofossil represents the activity of a detritus feeder organism on the sea floor surface
