Abstract
The presence both of radiolarites, attributed to the Dogger-Malm, and grey marls from the early Late Eocene in the Intermediate U n it o f the Haouz M ountains (Rifian Dorsal) indicates that the sea occupied the area at this times. These data modify previous palaeogeographical reconstructions
