La emigración montañesa hacia el Perú virreinal en el período borbónico (1700-1821)

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende explicar los factores que motivaron la emigración cántabra en el siglo XVIII, e inicios del siguiente, hacia el virreinato del Perú. Igualmente, analiza las modalidades del traslado de la población mencionada y su participación en la llamada “migración en cadena”This article sets out to explain the factors which motivated Cantabrian migration to the Viceroyalty of Peru in the XVIII Century and in the beginning of the following Century. Moreover, it analyzes the modalities of transfer of the aforementioned population and its participation in “chain migration”
