Claus Roxin no es sólo el más importante penalista alemán de nuestro tiempo, sino práctica - mente una estrella de rock por el fervor con que sus seguidores se acercan a él. Para estar a la par de tal personalidad, ha nacido en Gotinga, Alemania, el Centro de Estudios de Derecho Penal y Procesal Penal, que se propone llevar a cabo una intensa actividad académica y de investigación que involucre a estu- diantes de Derecho de todo el orbe, en particular de América Latina, donde Roxin ha formado una gran cantidad de juristas. Este artículo ofrece pormenores de tan buena nueva.Claus Roxin is not only the most important German criminal lawyer at the present time, but is also a really rock star due to the followers fervor usually shown to his person. For rise to the challenge of that celebrity, it has been set up in Gotinga, German, the Educational Center for Criminal Law and Cri- minal Procedural Law, with the purpose of develop an impassioned academic and research activity which involves lawyer’s students of all the word, specifically from Latin America, where Roxin had trained a big amount of jurist.
