Abstract

Self-determination is, both in its form and changing thickness, an integral element of our old European culture. The promises and the practice it involves threaten to disappear and to weaken under globalization and complexity. Adapted at the current times, there are, however, different reasons and paths for its understanding and preservation.

La auto determinación es, tanto en su forma como en su valor cambiante, un elemento integral de nuestra antigua cultura europea. La promesa y la práctica que envuelve, amenaza con desaparecer y debilitarse bajo la globalización y la complexidad. Adaptado a los tiempos modernos, hay, sin embargo, razones y caminos diferentes para su entendimiento y preservación.
