Presencia de Mirosphinctes frickensis (Moesch) en el Oxfordiense superior de la Sierra de Cazorla

Abstract

The record of Mirosphinctes frickensis (Moesch) is notified from the U pper Oxfordian of the Prebetic Zone for the first time. This is the single precise reference for the record of Mirosphinctes in horizons from the uppermost Bifurcatus to the lowermost Bimammatum Zones in southern Iberia. The range of studied specimens overlaps the last appearance of Dichotomoceras and the first appearance of Epipeltoceras
