For this reason, organizations in the solidarity sector have formulated projects that seek to align themselves with regional programs and promote leadership in rural development through solidarity-based environmental initiatives. Among them are the organizations Canapro Ambiental, Cooperación Verde and Cootregua for their participation and accompaniment of local environmental projects, which are the focus of this study. In this way, common elements were identified related to the principles of organizational design proposed by Elinor Ostrom as a methodology for qualitative validation of sustainability based on exploratory field research. In this way, the relevance of the principles for environmental solidarity initiatives has been confirmed, in favor of the objectives of sustainability and governance.
