dc.description.abstractThe volcanic-hosted graphite mineralization of Huelma Qaén) has been studied in order to stablish the mineralogical characteristics and mechanisms of formation. The graphite is highly ordered (as revealed by XRD and Raman data) and rather pure chemically (C content >90% ). The isotopic signature (8 13C = -23 to -20.7%o) and other geological evidences indicate that C in these graphites is derived from the organic matter included in the metamorphic basementen_US
