La boda estorbada en Lope de Vega

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo tiene por objeto estudiar el motivo folclórico universal de la boda estorbada en el conjunto de la obra de Lope de Vega. Se conforma de tres partes: en la primera se reconstruye la historia del motivo desde su primera manifestación conocida hasta el otoño del Renacimiento; en la segunda, se analiza su tratamiento por Lope de Vega; y, en la tercera, se repasa sucintamente en dos textos dramáticos de Calderón de la Barca

The following work aims to study the universal folkloric motif of the hindered wedding in the works of Lope de Vega. It consists of three parts: in the first, the history of the motif is reconstructed from its first known manifestation until it’s deployment during the latter half of the Renaissance; the second analyses Lope de Vega’s use of it; and, in the third, it is briefly reviewed in two dramatic texts by Calderón de la Barca
