Los grandes retos económicos ante el nuevo siglo

Abstract

Análisis desde un punto de vista estructural del proceso de desarrollo/subdesarrollo con el planteamiento de dos grandes interrogantes: ¿puede la raza humana estar orgullosa de la situación presente y de las perspectivas que se vislumbran para el próximo siglo?, y ¿es adecuada y correcta la orientación seguida y los principios aplicados por la Ciencia Económica más vigente?. La respuesta a estos dos grandes interrogantes, dirigida fundamentalmente al colectivo de la SEM, no es halagüeña, por lo que al no existir soluciones mágicas, es preciso transmitir la necesidad de cambiar la orientación que está siguiendo la economía mundial.___________________________Analysis from a structural point of view of the process of development based on two main questions: can the human being be proud of the present situation and of the prospects for the next century?, and, is it right and appropiate the path followed and the principles applied by the actual economic science? The answer to the above mentioned questions which are mainly orientated to the people of the SEM (World Economic Assotiation), is not a very happy one, given that since the magical solutions do not exist, it is necesary to transmit the necessity of changing the present orientation of the world economy.
