La doble mirada sobre Andalucía

Abstract

Si bien «lo andaluz», allende de nuestras fronteras, define superficialmente el carácter de «lo español», en cambio, en nuestro país, el auténtico proceso de formación cultural de Andalucía y las marcas definitorias de este pueblo siguen siendo una incógnita por descubrir. Bien es verdad que los medios de comunicación han hecho hasta ahora flaco favor por descubrir y dar a conocer la imagen de la Andalucía real. El autor de este trabajo ofrece una visión certera sobre la formación de Andalucía, haciendo hincapié en los estrechos estereotipos que falsamente nos han encasillado.

Although <<what is from Andalusia>>, beyond our borders, defines superficially the character of <<what is Spanish>>, however, in our country, the true process of cultural training of Andalusia and the defining marks of this town keep being a mystery that has to be discovered. It is true that the media, so far, has not helped to discover and to make the real image of Andalusia public. The author of this work offers an accurate view about the training of Andalusia, focusing on the narrow stereotypes into which we have been falsely classified.
