Abstract
Re
fl
Theoretical re fl ection on the political agency, oriented to create concepts for the analysis of unequal societies. The starting point is the concept of action and political space as “space of appearance” in Arendt, for a de fi nition of politics by the construction of the “common world”. Through Butler’s work, the article incorporates missing dimensions in the Arendt’s thought: the unequal positions and the role of the private space in the constitution of the political subject. The article tries to set lines of analysis to understand the political actors in unequal societies, de fi ning political agency as goal oriented, but also as a key to the production of a shared world.
