Abstract
La educación para los medios de comunicación es una de las obligaciones del servicio
público de la televisión portuguesa. La RTP2 ha demostrado, a lo largo de los años, una
fuerte preocupación por la calidad de los programas que ofrece, principalmente para el
público infantil y juvenil. Considerando eso, este artículo enfoca las estrategias de
comunicación y educación de los programas «Kulto» y «Pica» y discute en qué medida
los programas contribuyen en la enseñanza a niños y jóvenes a ver televisión, mejorando
así la competencia mediática
