Características estructurales asociadas al núcleo metamórfico de Lora del Río (Zona de Ossa-Morena)

Abstract

The Lora del Rio metamorphic core is located in the easternmost part of the Monesterio Antiform. A detailled structural and metamorphic study combined with cartographic data enable the characterization of 3 different units. These units reflect a first tectonic event of crustal thickening during the hercynian orogenic phase and the unroofing of the thickened crust by subsequent extensional deformation
