dc.description.abstractAnalysis of grain size parameters and its across-shore variation in beaches, has been studied in different occasions. In this work discriminant analysis, a multivariate statistic technique, was performed in order to determine the most influent parameters in these variations. Results indicate that these were the carbonate content, percentage of sediment corresponding to 0.125mm, 0.25mm and 0.5mm fractions and the granulometric modeen_US
