The application of multivariate analysis to whole rock chemical data allow us to obtain important conclusions about their particular evolutive history. In the example developed below, starting from one population of late-Hercynian granitoids previously classified into several groups by means of lithological and petrographical criteria, it is possible to establish their degree of petrogenetical meaning as plutonic units, the relative complexity of the processes that act upon their evolution and the simplest geochemical parameters that control iten_US
