Abstract
Landslide deposits of Gran Canaria were poorly understood before 7990. Our survey has shown that these deposits are composed of large translational landslides, attaining volumes up to TO9 m3. A total of 28 landslides have been classified and mapped at the Tirajana Basin. A reassessment of the landslide age indicates that movements started In early-middle Pleistocene.
