Abstract
The position and kinematics of shear zones, which developed under different P-T conditions, lead to redefine the Western Alpujarride nappes: Los Reales nappe group (Jubrique and Bermeja nappes, plus the Benarrabá imbrications) and the Blanca nappe group (Guaro nappe and other units). The Guaro Nappe dismembered in extensional horses. Some tectonic elements of the central Betics correlate with the nappes here defined
