Abstract
The main characteristics of the geological heritage, with the objective of proyecting conservation strategies, are exposed. It is proposed to underline the importance of heterogeneous, singular, inert, dispersed and aleatory character of geological enclaves. On the basis of these characteristics and the risk of human alteration, three types o f singular enclaves are differentiated, which are a) n o t very vulnerable singular geological point; b) vulnerable singular geological point; and c) singular geomorphological area
