Abstract
A graffiti found in the excavations of the Roman theatre of Cádiz represents a Christian building with an image of Mozarabic manuscripts. This fact allows us to open new research lines in the history of the city during the high medieval period, that is, between the seventh and eleventh centuries AD, at which time the city was supposedly abandoned
