Abstract
a nivel urbano:
las Asambleas de Barrios y Pueblos
In this article, we analyze the 15M movement, “Indignad@s” , from the point of view of its organizational practices based on the com- munity, decentralization and horizontality. Beyond the contextual factors, the precedents and the political discourses which framed the process of protest-building, the literature has not paid attention enough to the organizational products of the mobilization: the Community and Neigh- borhood Assemblies . These assemblies, which exist in the main cities of Andalucía, are community-oriented, horizontal and use grassroots struc- tures, but they face deep problems related to coordination and social inequality. Despite these shortcomings, the 15M assemblies have re-dis- covered the neighborhood and the community as the space for collective action.
