Control estructural de los filones de cuarzo en el Dominio Central del Sistema Central Hispano-Portugués: propuesta de un evento tectono-hidrotermal de edad Oligoceno-Mioceno Medio

Abstract

Se ha realizado un estudio estructural y mineralógico de los filo-nes de cuarzo controlados por fallas en el Dominio Central del Siste-ma Central Hispano-Portugués. De esta manera, se han establecido las etapas de apertura y relleno de filones mineralizados y estériles y se ha determinado el régimen tectónico en el contexto geológico regional. La última etapa de apertura y relleno se produce durante la deformación Alpina, por ello se propone la existencia de un nuevo evento tectono-hidrotermal de edad Oligoceno-Mioceno Medio en el Sistema Central Hispano-Portugués

A structural and mineralogical study of fault-controled quartz veins related to extensional structures have been carried out in the Central Domain of the Spanish-Portuguese Central System. The opening and infilling stages of mineralized and barren quartz veins have been established, along with their tectonic regime within the regional geological context. The last opening and infilling stage takes place during the Alpine deformation. As a result, a new tectono-hy-drothermal event of an Oligocene-Middle Miocene age, is proposed in the Spanish-Portuguese Central System
