Canal Sur y el desarrollo de la TV educativa andaluza

Abstract

Frente a la cada vez más criticada televisión convencional, va abriéndose paso con fuerza la posibilidad de poner en funcionamiento canales que contengan fuertes dosis de programación educativo-cultural que sirvan como instrumentos que potencien la educación integral de las personas. La cadena autonómica andaluza, Canal Sur TV, viene apostando últimamente por integrar dentro de su parrilla un fuerte componente educativo. Los autores de este trabajo, periodista y docente, presentan las iniciativas puestas ya en marcha por esta emisora y las óptimas perspectivas de futuro.

While conventional television is being more and more criticised, the possibility of opening channels with high doses of educational-cultural programs which serve as tools for boosting people’s integral education is starting to emerge. The autonomous channel of Andalusia, Canal Sur TV, bets for integrating a highly educational component in their channel. The authors of this paper, a journalist and a teacher, present initiatives already launched by this channel and optimal perspectives for the future.
