Abstract
En este artículo –que sirve de presentación a la sección
monográfica del volumen 13 de la revista Enclave
Pedagógica– se muestran algunas de las líneas
generales del panorama de la investigación en materia
de Educación Intercultural, en su pretensión de
responder a los desafíos de una época marcada por
la complejidad de situaciones sociales y educativas.
Las aportaciones que se recogen en este volumen son
muy diversas ya que van desde las reflexiones teóricas
más generales, asentadas en una larga trayectoria investigadora,
a la exposición de estudios más concretos
aún en proceso de desarrollo. Una lectura atenta
de los nueve artículos, incluyendo este mismo, que
componen esta sección nos puede dar una perspectiva
sobre las respuestas que, desde la investigación
y práctica educativa pueden darse a los desafíos de la
Educación Intercultural.
This article, which is an introduction to the special issue of the journal Enclave Pedagogica (no 13), outlines the main research made in the field of Intercultural Education. It aims to meet the challenges of an era marked by the complexity of social and educational situations. The contributions included in this volume are very diverse and range from the more general theoretical reflections settled into a long career in research, to the presentation of more specific studies which are still under development. By reading carefully these nine articles, including this one, that form this section, we can have a perspective on the answers that can be given to the challenges of intercultural education in what research and educational practice is concerned.
