Televisión y contextos sociales en la infancia : hábitos televisivos y juego infantil

Abstract

A pesar de contar ya en el panorama mundial con numerosos estudios e investigaciones sobre la violencia en televisión, sin embargo pocos analizan cómo los niño interaccionan con los contenidos televisivos, cómo sus interpretaciones cambian con la edad, el sexo y otras variables, cuáles son los intereses reales de los niños en el visionado televisivo, así como saber cuál es el papel que juega la televisión en el desarrollo cognitivo de la infancia y adolescencia. La autora de este trabajo nos ofrece los resultados de una rigurosa y completa investigación que nos descubre algunas pistas para ir conociendo estos apasionantes e irresueltos interrogantes.

Despite already counting with various studies and investigations in world stage about violence in television, very few, however, analyse how children interact with television contents, how their interpretations change with age, gender, and other variables, which children real interest are in television viewing, as well as knowing which the role that television performs in the cognitive development of infancy and adolescence is. The author of this work offers us the results of a rigorous and complete investigation which discovers some hints which help to start to know these exciting and unsolved questions.
