La divulgación científica y ambiental en la televisión

Abstract

El mundo actual asiste a una omnipresente cultura audiovisual que, según algunos, convierte a los ciudadanos en consumidores pasivos y dificulta su actividad intelectual. Estas nuevas tecnologías, que ocupan cada vez más espacio en nuestras vidas cotidianas, tienen también un impacto considerable en la escuela. ¿Es posible introducir la imagen en el mundo de la educación favoreciendo la implicación intelectual del alumno? En este artículo se analizan documentales televisivos sobre ciencia y naturaleza gracias a un novedoso instrumento de análisis. El autor concluye que su utilización didáctica debe potenciar la reflexión y plantear verdaderos problemas para trabajar en clase. __________________________________________Nowadays, we attend an omnipresent audiovisual culture that, according to some authors, it´s transforming the citizens into passive consumers and it is making the citizens ´intelectual activity difficult. New technologies, which take more and more time from our daily lives, also have a consideable impact on school. Is it possible to introduce the image in the world of the education and helping at the same time the students' implication? In this paper, we analyze documentaries of science and nature with an interesting analysis instrument. We conclude that the didactic use of documentaries must promote the reflection and outline daily life problems to work in class.
