José Ortega y Gasset es uno de los pensadores más brillantes del s. XX español. Su obra, sin embargo, tan alabada en campos como la antropología o la epistemología, ha sido criticada y denostada en el ámbito político por su defensa de la teoría de la élite, hasta el punto de que hay quien lo ha visto como un precursor del fascismo.
