Abstract
Kineanthropometric analysis appears to be a reliable tool to quantify the evolution of performance in professional basketball. More and more female teams are evaluating body composition with the intention of knowing the effects and improvements produced in the players as a result of training and competition. In this sense, the objective of this study was to analyze the anthropometric evolution of 10 players (Mage = 23.7; SD = 3.2) belonging to a team of the highest category of women's basketball in Spain, during the first round of the regular season 2019/2020. To obtain the data, three measurements distributed from the beginning of the preseason to the end of the first round were marked and the instruments recommended by the International Society for the Advancement of Kynanthropometry (ISAK) were used for a complete kinanthropometric analysis. The results show a favorable anthropometric evolution contrasting that the main anthropometric changes occur during the regular season
