This work reports the finding of layers of zircon-bearing chlorite schists in the southwestern part of the Sierra Bermeja peridotites, the biggest massif of the Ronda peridotites (Alpujarride Complex, Betic Cordillera, southern Spain). Structural, petrographic and geochemical data support a metasomatic origin for these rocks, at temperature conditions of 280-350 ºC, related to the serpentinization of the peridotites and the rodingitization of the granite dykes of the Ronda peridotitesen_US
