Abstract
As a result of the project to build a Base Telecommunications Station (BTS) in the area known as Eras del Castillo in the village of Viana de Mondéjar (Guadalajara) in April 2015, a historical archaeological and heritage research was carried out before the possible affection in this singular area of the Alcarria. Surprisingly, the results offered the discovery of a cistern carved in the limestone rock mantle, clogged by a fairly homogeneous package of rubble, which has been dated by the numerous pottery fragments documented inside.
