Abstract

The results of temperature and electrical conductivit y logs carrie dout in some recently drilled boreholes across the northern shoreline of the Fuente de Pledra Salt Lake, provid e the first data a bout a relative lythick transition zone between the freshw ater of the regional underground flow and the dense brine bodies occurring beneath the lake floor. Water-head values also point out to the reflux of brines flowing up along the hypothetical Chyben-Herzberg interface
