Abstract
During the Middle•Upper Tortonian, the southern edge of the Iberian Massif was affected by a marine transgression. So the planated topography (pre-Tertiary erosion surface). tilted to the south (1% - 3%), was cutting by N-S fluvial pattern. The uneven relief conditioned the local sedimentation with little deltas, beaches and others related environments, as well as cliffs and marine benches
