The use of the groundwater geothermal energy of the alluvial Ebro river aquifer constitutes a growing practice the city of Zaragoza. More than 150 wells are involved in the biggest nucleus of exploitation in Spain for its density and installed power. The carried out studies have characterize the uses and let to draw a thermal map of the aquifer showing the effect generated by the return of hotter water after a refrigeration processes. To prevent geologic and water catchment impacts in the city it is required to adopt technical and normative measures of support to the administrationen_US
