El campo pegmatítico de Lalín y sus mineralizaciones de Sn, Ta y Nb asociadas (Pontevedra, Galicia, España)

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the most important mineralogical, textural and pretrological characteristics of the Lalin pegmatite field. We can establish two different types of zoned pegmatites, with Li and without Li. Both of them are mineralized in Sn, Nb and Ta. Also, based on textural and mineralogical features, we defined two different types of lithium pegmatites. On the other hand, we described de tin, niobium and tantalum mineralization on each established group. We point out the high cassiterite, columbite-tantalite and phosphates content in LCLP group
