En la poesía de Cervantes repartida en novelas y teatro se encuentra una pareja de romances de inspiración cidiana que constituyen un interesante ejercicio de reescritura y se relacionan directamente con la Historia y romancero del Cid de Escobar. En torno a estas cuestiones se reflexiona sobre la inserción de poemas en obras mayores
In Cervantes’ poetry divided in novel and theatre, there are a couple of romances of Cidian inspiration that constitutes an interesting exercise of rewriting, and they link directly with Escobar’s Historia y romancero del Cid.
