Abstract

The amplitude of the critical problems of the first part of the Lazarillo has had the side effect of a critical unattention to the study of its continuation, the Lazarillo of Antwerp or Lazarillo of the Tuna fish. In this article, we are set towards a thematical revision, as a well as an analysis of the usus scribendi present in this second part, concluding that there a demonstrable stylistical correlation between the Lazarillo and the Second Part, which proves both parts to be of the same author. in favour of the work of St. Jerome, solidly supported in Spain by the tireless inquisitorial action that the teachers of Salamanca had to endure
