Abstract

La familia ha sufrido una serie de cambios desde el principio de la industrialización, y todavía hoy continúa. Cambios que conducen, inevitablemente, a hacer una revisión de algunos estudios sociológicos que definen la propia realidad de la familia y que analizan los importantes cambios constatados como son, las funciones que venían desempeñando tradicionalmente las familias, las relaciones familiares y las relaciones entre ésta y la sociedad. De cómo los efectos del cambio tecnológico han influido en las familias, en la forma de relacionarse y en la organización familiar produciendo una readaptación general.________________________________ The family has undergone a series of changes since the onset of industrialization; these changes continue today. Such modifications lead, inevitably, to a review of certain sociological studies which define the very reality of the family and analyze the important changes experienced, such as the functions traditionally performed by families, family relationships and the relationships between the family and society. The effects of technological change have influenced families, the way they interact and the way in which the family is organized, producing a wide-ranging re-adaptation.
