Regionalización de la precipitación en el País Vasco: Aplicación del modelo de análisis regional de lluvias

Abstract

The heterogeneity of the rainfall in a region is known, which lets distinguish different zones by their rainfall characteristics. In the Basque Country two zones can be distinguished: the Cantabric and the Mediterranean versant. This work shows the rainfall regionalization applied to the Basque Country. lt has been made using the Rainfall Regional Analysis (Llamas, 1986). In order to do it we have grouped the rainfall in events. The importance of these events, in number and intensity, let establish homogeneous periods in the year, twelve, and different zones in a region, two zones: the Cantabric and the Mediterranean versant

Se conoce la heterogeneidad de las precipitaciones en una región, lo que ayuda a distinguir diferentes zonas por las características de sus precipitaciones. Se pueden distinguir dos zonas en el País Vasco: la vertiente Cantábrica y la Mediterránea. Este trabajo nos muestra la regionalización de las precipitaciones aplicadas al País Vasco. Se ha hecho usando el Análisis Regional de Lluvias (Llamas, 1986). Para hacerlo, se han agrupado las precipitaciones en eventos. La importancia de estos, en número e intensidad, nos permite establecer doce periodos homogéneos al año, y dos zonas diferentes: la vertiente Cantábrica y la Mediterránea.
