Características geoquímicas preliminares de azabaches artesanales del Kimmeridgiense de Asturias

Abstract

The soluble organic m a tte r o f the Kim meridgian Asturias j e t has been studied b y gas chrom atography/ mass spectrometry. The sample was obtained by extractive sonication with carbon disulfide as solvent. The q ualitative d e te rm in atio n o f the diffe re n te compunds p resent in th e sample s h o w th a t this j e t is composed of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from naphtalene to benz(a)pyrene and their corresponding alkyl derivatives.
