Numerous seismic lines allow {he identification of a deep and long erosive canyon incised during the Messinian on shelfal and basinal deposits of Upper Tortonian and Messinian s.s. age. Reconstructions of the pre-erosional sedimentary architecture and other regional data support the interpretation of the erosion being of submarine origin and probably related with a Guadalquivir paleo-riveres_ES
