El drenaje subterráneo de la Cordillera Ibérica en la depresión del Ebro: aspectos geológicos

Abstract

Six hydrogeologic cross-sections, all of them placed along the contact between the Iberian Chain and the Tertiary Ebro Basin, are presented in this work. These cross-sections avoid us to establish a «geometric model» which explains both the specific location of the springs and the regional groundwater flow characteristics of their waters. The previous knowledge of the groundwater discharge points location, together with a lot of well and geophysical data, and the use of an «hydrogeologic logic» have helped us to interpretate the structuresEn este trabajo se presentan seis secciones transversales hidrogeológicas, todas ellas localizadas a lo largo del contacto entre el Sistema Ibérico y la Cuenca del Ebro Terciaria. Estas secciones transversales nos impiden establecer un «modelo geométrico» que explique tanto la ubicación específica de los manantiales como las características regionales del flujo subterráneo de sus aguas. El conocimiento previo de los puntos de secreción de aguas subterráneas, junto con una gran cantidad de información geofísica y de pozos, y el uso de «lógica hidrogeológica» nos han ayudado a interpretar las estructuras.
