Abstract
La revisión del numerario romano depositado en el Museo provincial de Huelva2, inédito hasta el momento como conjunto patrimonial, nos brinda la oportunidad de darlo a conocer a la comunidad
del mismo, integrado por aquellos ejemplares que portan iconografías de carácter femenino,
sociedad romana y que poco tienen que ver con la, en principio, escasa valoración jurídica o social de la mujer en la época, tanto en calidad de sujeto
análisis de los ejemplos disponibles se propone una sistematización temática del conjunto según
empleados, y se valoran sucintamente a partir de su uso dentro del complejo aparato de propaganda política y extensión de valores propios del Estado Romano
