Las intervenciones del arquitecto Pedro de Silva en la parroquial de Encinasola

Abstract

En este artículo abordamos el estudio de la reconstrucción acometida por Pedro de Silva en la torre-campanario de la iglesia parroquial de San Andrés de Encinasola, tras su destrucción por el terremoto de Lisboa en 1755. Para ello aportamos el proyecto de restauración realizado por el mencionado arquitecto sevillano, que se conserva en el Archivo Diocesano onubense. Dicha documentación incrementa la extensa lista de intervenciones efectuadas por tan insigne arquitecto en la provincia de Huelva y contribuye a esclarecer el proceso constructivo llevado a cabo en este templo.___________________________In this anide, we approach the study of the reconstruction undertaken by Pedro de Silva in the bell-tower of the parish church of San Andrés in Encinasola after its destruction by the Lisbon earthquake of 1755. For this reason, we supply the restoration project drawn up by the above-mentioned architect from Seville, preserved in the Diocesan Archives. That documentation increases the extensive list of interventions performed by this illustrious architect in the province of Huelva and contributes to our enlightenment of the construction process carried out in this temple.
