Abstract

A cartographic-environmental proposal for Physical Environment, based on maps of Use Recomendations and Limitations, has been elaborated to be applicated in the location of human settings and in Landscape Management. The analysis of the physical environment of La Vall de Gallinera (Alicante) clearly shows the way in which these parameters condition the human settings and uses of the valley: climatic, géomorphologie, hydrologic and biologic (vegetation) aspects greatly influence in the location of villages, organization of urban framework as well as in its design and kind of constructions
