Interrelation entre la valoración de los recursos pétreos y la Planificación del Territorio. Los áridos graníticos y basálticos del Ámbito Territorial Metropolitano de Barcelona

Abstract

Characteristics of granitic and basaltic rocks, restrictions that bear the present-day urban planning and use of ground and the environment conditions, have been studied to evaluate the possibilities that a territory offers to limit the most suitable large areas to the prospection and running of new extractions in the Territorial Metropolitan Area of Barcelona. We've concluded that, although the areas of geological interest are common (145 Km2), if we take into account the urban and environmental conditions, the suitables areas are notably reduced (14 Km2)
